Welcome to
Rooted in Good!

We bring together gardeners and neighbors to collect surplus produce and nonperishable pantry items and deliver them to local food pantries—ensuring no harvest goes to waste and more families have access to fresh, healthy food.

The initiative began with a simple question from a high school student after a few trips donating surplus produce from his mom’s garden: how could we make a bigger impact? That curiosity grew into an initiative focused on connecting neighbors, reducing waste, and strengthening local hunger relief efforts.

Rooted in Good just getting started and currently focused on the TriVillage area of Central Ohio: Upper Arlington, Grandview Heights, and Marble Cliff. As Rooted in Good grows, our goal is to build a strong, scalable infrastructure that allows us to expand into additional communities and grow more good.
